What themes does Kooee Reviews work with?

Kooee Reviews works on any Online Store 2.0 theme.

The launch of Online Store 2.0 introduces theme app extensions, an improved approach to how apps integrate with the storefront. Theme app extensions allow app developers to inject inline content and components on a page as an app block, which merchants can add and configure directly through the theme editor.

Kooee Reviews has been built specifically for Online Store 2.0 themes as that is now Shopify’s requirement for all new themes.

To find out if you have a 2.0 theme, follow these steps:

Log in to your Shopify store admin
In Online Store > Themes > click Actions > Edit code
In the Templates folder of your theme, search for a product.json file. If it exists it means your theme is a Shopify 2.0 OS theme

Can I import reviews from another system

Absolutely. Just go to Apps > Settings and at the bottom of the page you will see our current import options. You’ll just need to move your current reviews into our CSV template and then upload them. We are more than happy to assist you with this as well.

Can I export my reviews from Kooee

Yes, we're not trying to lock you in. Just go to Apps > Import & Export. Then click the "Export" button at the top of the page to get a CSV of all your reviews.

How do I add reviews to my theme?

First, you need to make sure your theme is a Shopify 2.0 theme. Then follow the instructions and video here.

Can I reward customers when they leave a review?

Yes! With our Reward Review feature, you can setup 2 tiers of discounts. One for a text only review and one for a photo review. You can also set expiration periods on the offer and on the discount codes.

Can I create a social media image from my reviews

Yes! Using our professionally designed layouts, create your own branded templates and output your reviews as social media images in a jiffy. Read more about this feature here.
