This guide covers the most important steps to get up and running quickly.

1. Enable App Embed

For Kooee Reviews to function properly in your theme, you must enable the Kooee Reviews App Embed. This is a critical step, which only takes a few seconds and it only needs to be actioned once.

2. Core Settings

First, let’s make sure your settings are configured in a way that suits your store.

Go to: Apps > Kooee Reviews > Settings

From here, you can:
• Upload a logo. The logo is used on Review request pages and email templates
• Enable/disable “Publish Reviews immediately”
• Set Review Email settings to set colour and content of review emails
• Set Review Page settings to set colours and content

3. Display Reviews

Go to: Online Store > Current theme > Customise

Choose a Template to start adding review blocks to your theme:
• Reviews Block - Displays reviews in a standard List, Grid or Masonry format
• Reviews Rating - Displays the star rating
• Reviews Slider - Displays reviews in a slider carousel, great for image reviews

Each block has its own settings.

4. Moderating Reviews

Reviews can either be set to publish immediately, or after moderation. When a review is submitted, you will receive and email (If enabled in your settings).

You can view and moderate reviews from the submissions list:

Go to: Apps > Kooee Reviews > Reviews

Here you can see all reviews that have been submitted. You can publish, unpublish and tag your reviews.
